What is an electrical system?

An electrical system is a network connecting electrical equipment, used to generate, transmit and use electricity. A large power system, supplying electricity to a region or a country, is also called a grid and can be further subdivided into three broad segments: generators (power generation), transmission system. load (bring electricity to consumption) and distribution system (power supply for industrial, commercial and apartment zones). Smaller electrical systems are found internally in industrial zones, hospitals, homes, planes, cars, …

What is industrial electricity?

The industrial electrical system includes power supply systems, power distribution cabinets, lighting networks, electrical machines and electrical equipment in industrial enterprises with indoor and outdoor environments.

1. Medium voltage power distribution system

These are power sources with voltages ranging from 1KV to 35KV. The medium voltage line is a system of countless high voltage poles with interconnecting lines at the top.

Medium voltage lines are used wire wrapped, bare wire mounted on the post made of insulating porcelain. This power source is hung on a centrifugal concrete column, 9m-12m high, insulator is a porcelain or hanging porcelain

2. Low voltage power distribution system

We are a professional contractor specializing in the design, supply of equipment and construction and installation of low voltage power distribution systems in industrial factories, buildings and commercial centers. Construction and installation ensure stable and safe operation system. Meet the standards of TCVN 7447, IEC 60064. The low voltage distribution system includes the following main components:

– Low voltage distribution electrical cabinet:
Low voltage distribution cabinets in the system include: general low-voltage distribution cabinets (MSB) after transformer stations, branch distribution cabinets, automatic source switching cabinets, ATS, automatic capacity compensation cabinets. , engine control cabinets, fire protection system control cabinets, electrical cabinets for lighting systems, etc. are fabricated and assembled according to the standards: TCVN 366-81, IEC 60439

– Electrodynamic cable system and Busway:
Electrodynamic cable system or Busway system is used to supply power from distribution cabinets to consumable loads or from the total distribution cabinet system behind the transformer station.

– Ladder, cable tray, cable ducting system.

3. Generator system, electrical panel cabinet, transformer …

4. Electric lighting system

What is a convenient and efficient lighting system?

An efficient and convenient lighting system must meet the following criteria: satisfy user needs, achieve economy, protect the environment, fit with space, and safety for users.

In addition, an effective lighting system must also ensure aesthetics, high durability, and especially convenience and intelligence.

When choosing lighting equipment, what factors should you consider?

In order to have an effective lighting system, when choosing the equipment, it is necessary to consider the following issues:

  • Set properties and utilities of the device
  • Comprehensive and efficient solution in lighting
  • Protect the health of the user
  • Energy saving and environmental protection
  • Value for long term use
  • High up absolute safety when using.
  • Product quality
  • High aesthetics including smart lighting

5. Lightning protection system

What is lightning protection system?

(Lightning protection system) is the whole wiring system used to protect a building from the effects of lightning.

  • The Air termination network is a part of the lightning protection system in order to attract lightning to strike it.
  • Earth termination network  is a part of the lightning protection system in order to dissipate the lightning current to ground.
  • Down conductor is a conductor connecting the air-termination and the grounding network
  • Earth electrode is the part or group of conductive parts that come in contact with the ground and can transmit lightning current to ground.
  • The Ring earth electrode is an earth electrode that creates a closed loop around the building below or above the ground, either below or directly within the foundation of the building.
  • The Reference earth electrode is an earth electrode that can be completely separated from the ground network for use in test measurements.
  • Self-inductance is a characteristic of a conductor or circuit that creates a reverse electromagnetic field when a variable current is passed through them.
  • Mutual-inductance is the characteristic of a circuit where a voltage is created in a closed loop by a varying current in an independent conductor.
  • Transfer-inductance is the characteristic of a circuit where a voltage is created in a closed loop by a current varying in another circuit, part of which is in the closed loop.
  • Zone of protection is the volume in which a down-conductor creates a resistance to lightning strikes by capturing lightning striking it.
  • Earth Ground Resistance is the resistance between the ground electrode and the ground.
  • Lightning protection & grounding inspections  is the process of inspecting and evaluating the protection ability of the lightning protection system according to current safety standards.

The purpose of the lightning protection system
The installation of lightning protection systems to protect buildings with a high risk of fire and explosion such as explosives factories, fuel depots or equivalent requires the highest protection against the risks of lightning strikes.

For other constructions, lightning protection requirements are also set out to protect people and property against the impact of lightning:

  • A place where people gather
  • The place where essential public services are to be protected
  • A place where lightning is frequent around that area
  • Place with very tall structures or stand alone
  • Place with works of cultural or historical value
  • Place containing flammable and explosive materials.
  • Factory, workshop, laboratory
  • Office buildings, hotels, apartment buildings
  • School, hospital, kindergarten
